Born in Mt. Vernon, NY, Nancy Marie is a seasoned, well
known vocalist within the band circuit. Nancy Marie reaches across
genre borders with her lush, soulful style while her unique sultry tone
allows her to cover a wide range of artist.
Nancy Marie began singing at age four, and was exposed to her father’s
jazz/standard records, and her brothers Beatles albums. At the age of
16 Giordano had hit the club circuit as a back up singer for "Angel
Annie". Not to long after she fronted her very first band, "1369",
covering good old rock and roll tunes. Over the years there were quite a
few bands; "The Second Coming", "The Kore", duet act "Ronnie and
Nancy", and her recent wedding band project, "The Eclectic Groove", and
duet, "The Remedy", to name a few.
Inspired by bassist John Capalbo and Guitarist Ron Giordano who were impressed with her vocal ability, Giordano collaborated with Capalbo and they recorded their originals; "Into the Night", "Make You Shake", "Crime of Passion", and "Hey Blue". Most recently Giordano has lent her vocal talents while collaborating with Coco Dwarf on the UK club release, "Forever".
Giordano is a voice for hire, whether to fill in on a gig or lend her voice for a session. She is a true professional and easy to work with. References are available upon request.
