FAITH IN GOD

In this day and age
Of terror and dismay
We place our faith in God
We know He'll show the way

The young will go to fight
The old stay home and pray
Would God I were young again
That I might join the fray

Yet my day has come and gone
That I might fight the foe
Send me Lord, where you will
For I will surely go

But if by Your will
My travels might be oer
Then I obey your will
Till we meet at Heaven's door

So stay at home I will
And pray for those who fight
For soon we'll sing God's victory song
Giving thanks to His righteous might

DEMONS RUN

I know I’ve been fighting some demons
No one can tell me they aren’t real
They don’t have names and I haven’t seen them
But I know they can change the way I feel

When I’m having trouble with demons
I can get some help so things will change
Because I call upon my good friend Jesus
And then cast them all away in His name

Demons run and demons hide
Demons can’t look Him in the eye
Demons vanish and demons flee
Demons fade when Christ is there with me
I never invited any demons in but
I believe in what I trust
When I call out to the Savior
Demons run

They say that we all have our demons
Many people have more than their share
So we shouldn’t just keep it between us
For there are still so many unaware

We have to share the remedy for those demons
And provide the sacrifice to make a change
Clear the air and send the devil screaming
So burdened souls will know God makes a way

Demons run and demons hide
Demons can’t look Him in the eye
Demons vanish and demons flee
Demons fade when Christ comes on the scene
We never invite any demons in but
If we believe in what we trust
When we call out to the Savior
Demons run
